Tie Dye Hoodie

So I joined in a live sew along at the end of January - my first experience of doing this.  The sew along was run by Rachel of 'Stitched Up' and we made the Chalk & Notch Page Hoodie.  This was another first, I have never made a Hoodie before and had never inserted grommets.  You may smile at my choice of fabric for a 62 year old but that's me - a bit of a hippie at heart loving all things tie dye, retro florals, paisleys and bright colours!

The fabric was from my stash and I think I picked it up from a seller on EBay.  I used some white ribbing on the cuffs and bought some matching green cord and the metal toggle ends to finish it off.

The February live sew along will be the Atelier Jupe 'Frida Blouse' on the 26th February at 6:00pm on Rachels 'Stitched Up' channel on YouTube.  Check it out and come and be with like minded people for a couple of hours.  I have my fabric picked out already - a Viscose Challis that I bought from Rainbow Fabrics, Kilburn, London which I will share once washed and ironed.

There is also an amazing sew along tutorial on You Tube for the Frida Blouse by Andrea at Beyond the Pink Door HERE . Andrea's tutorials are just the best,
