The first dress in my wardrobe for years. I could never buy dresses that were a reasonable fit so I just didn't buy them. I thought I would start with the Tilly and the Buttons 'Lotta' Dress as it seemed a pretty simple make and easy to fit with the elasticated waist. I make a straight size 6 but took some of the volume out of the skirt because I don't like quite such an A line flare. I love all the different shades of purple, such a pretty viscose print that I bought from Rainbow Fabrics Kilburn last year. I will make more but for now I am onto the next pattern - I am late to the party!!
